Nollywood Lapses
Nollywood Producers sacrifice alot of time to make believe
I never wanted to post this for now but let me share small
Am angry with the entire Nollywood especially those who took leadership of the industry as from 2006. I can't still tell if those who were there before would have done something but truth to the fact is that;
Nollywood is one of the biggest and oldest Film industry in Africa with whole lot of influence as far is filmmaking is concern in Africa. The industry is rich yet production capacity is very low. As one of African Giant film industry i don't think Nollywood should embark on low Level projects (Low concept ) we say Hollywood produces high concepts because of the level of technology . What level of technology are we talking about cef? No be same materials we de use? Some production here in Nigeria are even using high expensive expensive equipment more than few across Hollywood see make i tell una our problem
Lack of technical knowledge
Laziness
Greed
Jealousy
Lack of collective effort
Bias
Over love for cheap things
Impatience to handle procedures
Love for money than the Art
The same knowledge those across Hollywood are using is same knowledge we can apply. I even see some people going to film schools in New York and then come back to do ordinary low concept Drama type of films. Chai chai shame de catch me abeg..
Raw talent de for background to make things happen but people de press things down
